Bailey is doing better! :-) Not a puppy again, but not lying on the floor in pain either. Better. *phew* Good thing, too, because we just got HAMMERED with a snowstorm, so we can't just pop out to see the veterinarian!!
Tying up loose ends, while I have this brief stretch of free time. Indoor-planting tomatoes, albumizing photos, filing papers and notes, and spring-cleaning through some clothes (realizing that only about 1/4 of my shirts are even presentable anymore)... Definitely time for a shopping trip. Advice? I am still in student-mode where jeans, t-shirts and hoodies are the uniform. Be gentle.
I have a whole bunch of old t-shirts (mostly from Threadless), lots of designs and a moderate variety of colours (mostly black, white, green, cream, and blue), and I plan on turning them into a jersey quilt, like the one on Twilight: Eclipse (here is something similar). They may not represent all the stops on a roadtrip, but there are still stories & memories attached to them. Will be learning as I go along!
Very nervous about starting Spring placement (even though my new supervisor sounds like a really sweet person). Nervous about finding a job. Just... Fretting in general. Part of the issue is that, compared to last year, I don't feel like I fit in AT ALL with my classmates. We are so different! I have really been feeling like a misfit this year... Working hard to keep my anxiety under control, even when faced with a whole bunch of "ifs" and question marks.

I'm sorry to hear that about your classmates. I guess even with our crazy mess of people there were still some core people that were easy and good to hang with. You mean you can't find someone to skip studying to watch Mr. Fox with? :)
ReplyDeleteNobody in this group would appreciate Mr. Fox, in my opinion. It's just sad. Everyone's more concerned with Dancing with the Stars and stuff like that... Oy vey.
ReplyDelete...I really need to see Mr. Fox again.
Hi Megs!
ReplyDeleteThe book you were reading, Matilda, what kind of book is it?
It just made a sparkle in my head, seeing the title. Plus, you rate it five stars!
Do you think I'll like it?
Hey Maki!
ReplyDeleteMatilda is a classic children's book (you could read it all in a day or two) about a genius little girl with extraodinary powers who is pitted against horrible parents and an even more horrible school headmistress. It's really FUNNY! You should definitely read it!
